INTEGRATED BODYWORK SESSION

A tailored therapeutic experience and among our most popular services. Integrated bodywork sessions that embraces the different approaches and shared purpose of PEMF and MFR.

Better Balance integrated bodywork sessions are fluid and highly specific to the needs of each individual horse, because no two horses are exactly alike, and their care shouldn't be either.

Different approaches. Shared purpose. Combined for maximum results.

By combining both modalities, I'm able to tailor each session to the horse in front of me.

PEMF

PULSED ELECTROMAGNETIC FIELD THERAPY

A technologically forward therapy that harnesses low-frequency magnetic waves to support circulation, reduce inflammation, and encourage recovery at a cellular level.

Every cell in the body contains a tiny electrical charge of energy, which depletes with physical exertion, strenuous exercise, and trauma. PEMF delivers additional energy to each cell to help them recharge.

PEMF, sometimes referred to as Magnawave, is a highly safe, scientifically backed therapeutic treatment that reduces inflammation, speeds up recovery, and contributes to overall wellbeing.

MFR

MYOFASCIAL RELEASE

A historically-rooted technique that addresses fascia, which is the connective tissue system that surrounds muscles throughout the body.

Fascia can become tight, restricted, or stuck for a variety of reasons, including overuse, strenuous work, dehydration, and more. It can form adhesions, which can then create compensation patterns, limit range of motion, and contribute to discomfort.

MFR uses slow, targeted, hands-on movement to address these adhesions in ways traditional massage may not fully address.

At Better Balance Equine, my goals are simple:

Use the right tools, at the right time, to help horses move more comfortably,

perform more confidently, and feel their best.
